Ilese Day Festival Enhances Youth Development - Otunba Hamzat

A stakeholder in Ilese community, Otunba Hamzat Tommy, has identified the annual Ilese Day Festival as an event that has gone a long way to enhance youth development in the community.

Speaking during an interview with a group of journalists in his Ilese country home, the straightforward personality pointed out that the annual Ilese Day Festival has enhanced youth development in the community, stressing the need for them to be patriotic to their fatherland.

He explained that the various programs organised during the event, which include sports competitions, quiz and debate, carnival displays, were all strategic for youth development as they encourage the youth to exhibit their God-given talent to maximise health.

He further described the annual event as a program that should be encouraged as it goes a long way to engender grassroots development.
